We’re
1,621 miles from home and moving eastward.
The Route
We left Eden on I-84, entered Utah near Snowville, connected with
I-80 at Echo, UT and arrived in Evanston 250 miles later.
About the Day
Today was cool and pleasant.
It was 43° at 10:00, 53° at 11:00, and reached a high of 61°.
Along the Way
The scenery seemed to change from predominantly ranches and ranges to farms and fields as we traveled south and east. Snow has dusted many mountain tops.
Eden to Utah ...
Utah - heading for Ogdon ...
Don't get bit. There are no services here. |
There's a long stretch with no services. |
This blue sign brings an uneasy feeling. |
We seem to weave through the hills. |
Lots of colors on display here. |
Utah - heading east on I-84 from Ogdon ...
There's evidence of fire here also. |
This hill looked like camouflage. |
Wyoming - we're finally on I-80 ...
The Campground
We ended the travel day at Phillips
RV Park. It's a nice campground with lots of trees. They appear to have limited staff. The office was open from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
We arrived before 3:00, picked a site and set up in a nearly vacant campground. Registration was a bare-bones, no-nonsense transaction.
