Day 46 – Dundee, OR (Day 5)

This was another stick around home kind of day.

The Route
None.

About the Day
The morning was overcast and cool.  The sun broke through around noon.  This appears to be the first day this week with no rain ... yippee!

Kenny worked all day.

Lucy was in school.

Barbara and William went to Salem and picked up a bed from Eric.

We had a delightful breakfast at Black Bear Diner.  Carol did laundry.  Dick did some trailer maintenance.

Note: We recommend the Black Bear Diner.  We’ve been to four different locations over the years and found the service, atmosphere and meals to be excellent.  Their menus are unique … and fun.

Carol, Barbara and Lucy went for a walk and then stopped to feed the animals before dinner.
Lucy had plenty of energy after the walk.
Got food?
(This is a steer, but couldn't resist the play on words.)
Everyone came to dinner.
Even the chicken wanted some of the action.
Barbara ... the Farmer.

Car Repair
3:30 pm update:  The repair center estimates completion by Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

The Evening
We settled down for the night around 9:30 pm.

Tomorrow
Kenny and Dick plan to work on the play set.  This is what we’re trying to assemble.
There are lots of parts and pieces.
