Day 5 – Drasco, AR (Day 2)

Today was a relaxing, non-driving day with family.

The Route
We stayed put.

About the Day
The day was partly sunny.  The temperature reached the low 80s.  There was a brief rain storm at around 10:30 am.

We had a relaxed (yes, we slept in) breakfast of fresh-baked, blueberry scones and fresh fruit.

We spent the day reminiscing and discussing current affairs.

Jim showed off their custom designed entrance sign.

About the Evening
Bobbie prepared a wonderful grilled salmon dinner with rice, tomato salad, and homemade bread ... topped off with homemade lemon meringue pie.  We must leave tomorrow because the delicious treats we've had since arriving will soon put us over the Durango's tow weight limit.
To a beautiful dinner

There's one family member we can't forget.  Bailey has been a delight during the visit.  She's polite, very intelligent and as cute as can be.

It's a Peaceful Setting

Tomorrow
We’re heading south toward Baton Rouge.
