Carol did a little spiffing up inside with a new bedspread
and a matched set of runner and bath mat rugs.
Our other preparation was the same as in past years. Dick installed the batteries (they had been
on trickle charge all winter). We had Skip’s RV Service repack the wheel
bearings and check the brakes, shocks and tires. And finally, wash and wax the trailer (this
is when Dick is really glad we didn’t get a longer model).
There was a new twist.
Our propane tanks are now over 10 years old. By law, they can’t be refilled until they’re
replaced or re-certified. We got new
tanks.
We de-winterized and checked all systems at Alum Creek State Park |
The wax job sure helps our 10-year-old travel home with 78,000+ tow miles sparkle. |
Hard to believe the RV is 10 years old. Wow! It really sparkles!!!
